what we do

At Spark WA Foundation, we empower women to unlock their full potential and lead confident, meaningful lives. We provide mentorship, skill-building programs, and community initiatives that create tangible pathways for personal and professional growth. Our programs are designed to meet women wherever they are in their journey, whether they are looking to develop leadership skills, gain career-readiness tools, or find support in navigating life’s challenges.

Our initiatives include Mentorship & Leadership Development, where women connect with inspiring mentors, participate in empowerment circles, and attend leadership bootcamps to grow their confidence and influence. Through Workshops & Training, we offer practical sessions in areas like resume building, financial literacy, and digital upskilling to help women succeed in today’s competitive world. We also organize Community Uplift Initiatives, including care drives, support groups, and community forums, to ensure women have the resources and networks they need to thrive.

By fostering a culture of empowerment and connection, Spark WA Foundation is lighting the path for women to rise, lead, and create lasting change in their lives and communities.

About Founder

Dishika Singh, the founder of Spark WA Foundation, knows firsthand the challenges that women face in pursuing their dreams, especially in a new country. When Dishika moved to the United States, she encountered cultural adjustments, limited access to mentorship, and the difficulty of building professional connections. Despite her talent and drive, she struggled to find meaningful opportunities and support during her early years.

Through persistence, self-learning, and the kindness of mentors who guided her along the way, Dishika discovered how vital community, mentorship, and skill-building are in helping women succeed. Her journey from struggle to confidence became the inspiration for Spark WA Foundation. Today, she is committed to ensuring that other women never have to face these barriers alone and can instead access the tools, guidance, and community that she once wished for.

A Message From Our Founder

“When I first came to the United States, I had ambition, passion, and a desire to contribute, but I didn’t have the network or guidance I needed to move forward. The journey was often lonely and uncertain. I realized how many women like me were facing the same challenges, wanting to thrive, but lacking mentorship, connections, and opportunities.

Spark WA Foundation was born from my personal journey and my belief that no woman should have to face these struggles in isolation. Every woman deserves a space where she can learn, grow, and feel supported. Through our mentorship programs, workshops, and community initiatives, we are building that space, one where women rise together, celebrate each other, and create real impact in their own lives and communities.

Thank you for being part of this journey and helping us ignite change for women everywhere.”
