Spark WA Foundation Logo Explanation
The Spark WA Foundation logo is a vibrant representation of our mission, identity, and the global spirit of empowerment. It is thoughtfully designed to reflect the connection between the foundation’s roots in the United States, its home in Washington State, and the heritage of its Indian founder.
Dual National Identity
- The USA flag colors and stars symbolize our base in the United States and our commitment to uplifting women and communities here in Washington.
- The Indian tricolor hues (saffron, white, and green) represent the cultural roots of our founder, Dishika Singh, and honor the journey of women navigating life between cultures.
The Woman Silhouette in Flame
- The central flame-shaped woman represents strength, transformation, and empowerment.
- Fire is a universal symbol of spark and change, perfectly capturing the foundation’s role in igniting confidence and opportunities for women.
- Her upward form symbolizes growth and rising potential, while her graceful profile embodies dignity, hope, and leadership.
The Ripple of Connection
- The circular shape reflects unity, community, and inclusivity, showing that every woman we empower creates a ripple effect that uplifts families and communities.
- The integration of both flags within this circle reinforces the idea that empowerment knows no borders, bridging cultures and fostering global sisterhood.
In essence, this logo tells the story of Spark WA Foundation—a nonprofit born from the journey of an Indian woman in the U.S., dedicated to empowering women in Washington and beyond, sparking change that transcends cultures and communities.
Our Mission & History
To empower women through mentorship, skill-building, and community support, helping them overcome barriers, unlock their potential, and lead confident, impactful lives.
Spark WA Foundation was born from a deeply personal journey. When our founder, Dishika Singh, first moved to the United States, she faced the challenges many women encounter—navigating a new culture, seeking meaningful work, and longing for mentorship and connection. Despite her skills and ambitions, she realized that opportunities were often limited without the right support system or guidance.
Through perseverance, learning, and building meaningful networks, Dishika experienced firsthand how mentorship and community can transform a woman’s path. Determined to ensure other women wouldn’t face the same struggles alone, she created Spark WA Foundation—a place where women can find encouragement, resources, and a powerful network to rise together.
